It was a perfect escape from the crowded tourist spots. the accommodations were cozy and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us detailed instructions and tips for our activities in the area.

the cottage lacked some basic facilities that we were expecting. we found the surrounding area to be quite isolated, which made it difficult to find nearby restaurants or shops.

The Old Barn is my go-to spot in Nether Wasdale. Reminds me of my first stay when the staff kindly assisted my elderly parents. With Wi-Fi, paid parking, no pets, and no smoking, it has all I need. Always return for business trips. No regrets.
